A-If cable drum weight is upto 10 ton , manual screw type cable drum jack is sufficient, however if above 11kV/33kv/66kV cable drums 20 ton cable jack will be required as HT cables above 3cx240sqmm sizes weight is above 15 tons and may range upto 20 ton. For 20 ton cable drum lifting, manual screw type mechanism will not be sufficient, hence for weight between 10ton to 20 ton it should be ideal to use 20 ton hydraulic type cable drum lifting jack. A-20 ton jack can lifting nearly 20 tons however normally quality conscious cable drum lifting jack manufacturers will design for slight overcapacity e.g. upto 21tons so that it can have long life.
